@CPY87 I always felt a little sorry for the really good trial judges who were "promoted" to the COA. if they were really good below, they probably thrive around people while the COA gig seems so isolating. Make sure you get out of that office enough...or bring your dog (?)

@finedr1965 Even after 20 years of appellate practice (before the days of Zoom) I drove 45 miles into just Detroit to watch the two best appellate attorneys in the state oppose each other. Noreen and Mark. It was beautiful! And yes, am an appellate nerd. Lol

@JeffMIrwin It's not just the trees. As soon as you leave Ann Arbor on Washtenaw the potholes are big enough to swallow a small child. Ann Arbor doesn't have the same issue - even though its all County $$$
