Right now, Missouri is one of only two states that fails to livestream state Senate proceedings. It is time to modernize.
Bringing video streaming to the Senate chamber will give Missourians direct access to their government, fostering greater accountability and efficiency. Our constituents deserve to see democracy in action, track the issues that matter, and watch their elected officials work in real time.
Missouri Lt. Governor David Wasinger joined us to ask a simple question: Why can’t Missourians WATCH their own State Senate in action? Missouri is one of only two states in America that still doesn’t livestream full Senate proceedings on video, only audio. Wasinger says taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability from the people making laws in Jefferson City. If the Senate is conducting the people’s business, why keep the cameras off?

Happy Memorial Day, Missouri!
Today we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. May we live each day in a way that honors their profound legacy. 🇺🇸
Today we celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mentors whose unconditional love and strength shape our lives every day. Your dedication is the backbone of our families and the heart of our communities. Wishing all the moms a beautiful day filled with the appreciation and joy you so richly deserve!
Missourians filed a Sunshine request for video of a Senate vote on transparency, and the footage goes black at the exact moment senators stand to kill the bill.
That’s not a glitch. That’s a problem.
Missouri families deserve full accountability—no selective blackouts, no excuses.

Mizzou has the best journalism school in America and does not need to use H-1B visas to fill communications jobs. Glad they are reviewing its H-1B program. We should review all statewide use of H-1B visas.
Missouri taxpayers should not be funding the outsourcing of jobs our own graduates are trained to do.
AMERICAN WORKERS FIRST!

Great day at @BuyMissouri Day at the Capitol. Dozens of businesses from across our state showed off the craftsmanship, grit, and innovation that keep Missouri’s economy moving.
When you buy Missouri-made, you’re backing our workers, our communities, and our future! #moleg#BuyMO
Great to host the University of Missouri chess team at the Capitol today.
These Tigers just brought home the President’s Cup, the top prize in collegiate chess.
With St. Louis recognized as the chess capital of the world, it’s only fitting that the national championship trophy stays right here in Missouri.
It was an honor to join the Show-Me Service Awards today to celebrate the incredible spirit of our state. Missourians have a long history of stepping up when it matters most. I am proud to recognize these outstanding individuals who truly embody what it means to serve the Show-Me State.
Great lunch with Lincoln County’s new mayors. I appreciate Reps. Perkins and Justus for bringing us together. Local government is where the rubber meets the road, and it's vital that state and local leaders continue to work as a team to serve Missourians.
National Infertility Awareness Week is a reminder that many Missouri families are walking a difficult road, but they are not alone. There is hope, and we stand with every family believing in brighter days ahead and the promise of growing their family.
National Volunteer Week is a reminder that strong communities don’t happen by accident, they’re built by people who show up and serve. If you’re able, find a way to step up, whether its mentoring a kid, helping a neighbor, or giving your time to a local cause. Missouri is at its best when we take care of our own, so let’s get to work!
Had a great time in Joplin this week touring their state-of-the-art entertainment center and historic neighborhoods museums with Missouri Arts Council Chair, Saron Beshore.
You can feel the pride and momentum in a community investing in both its history and future!
Great to be with @Progress64West to talk about keeping our region, and state competitive.
These are the folks driving growth, creating jobs, and investing back into their communities.
We’re going to keep fighting for a business climate that lets them build, hire, and win for Missouri.
Great to honor some incredible Missourians at the Lt. Governor’s Senior Service Awards. These seniors haven't just built our past, they are actively shaping our future.
Missouri is a better place because they never stopped showing up. 🇺🇸
Great to speak at the Missouri Senate Art Contest and celebrate some incredibly talented young Missourians. Their winning pieces will be displayed in the Capitol over the next year for everyone to see. Proud of these students and the creativity they’re bringing to our state.
Great to welcome these young Missourians from Hannibal to the Capitol as part of the annual Tom and Becky Contest. This year marks the 150th anniversary of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, a story rooted in my hometown of Hannibal. Proud to see the next generation carrying on this great Missorui tradition!
He is risen! Across Missouri, families gather tday to celebrate the victory of life over death and the promise of redemption through Jesus Christ. May this Easter bring renewed faith, hope, and joy to every corner of the Show-Me State.
On Good Friday, we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice and the enduring promise of faith, redemption, and hope. It’s a time to pause, give thanks, and remember the values that guide us forward.
