@MikelSevere @ConnorHapper It just happens to be one of my favorite violations to stop. Regular muffler violation is only $25 ($74 w/ court cost). The other one is ‘Exhaust or intake muffler; change; increase of noise; prohibited.’ That one gives the driver a mandatory court date and no preset fine.

With extra officers out for traffic enforcement during the holiday weekend, at what point over the speed limit do you think officers should start issuing speeding tickets?

Texting while going 18mph over the posted speed limit of 35mph will get you a hefty fine. Adding in the court cost, it totaled $374 in fines and costs for this driver.
