@RightOnRangers Real hot take: throw deGrom in the pen and tell him to get his 4 seam FB back up to 100 mph. You don’t have to worry about location as much if you’re throwing straight gas, and it’s clear he can’t consistently eat innings. At this rate I wouldn’t start him in October.

@theoldgreywolf We’ve lost at least 3 rocker starts because he’s failed to cover first. It’s become a huge issue and it’s clear the guy has pebbles for brains. No amount of time in AAA will fix stupidity.

@RightOnRangers Skip is saving deGrom for his next start against the Angels where he’ll proceed to give up 5 runs in 1-2 innings because deGrom has not pitched well in Anaheim, and he’ll only go 4.2 innings or so due to high pitch count.
