This local quarry has footpaths on it's outskirts and a viewing platform has been installed for passersby to see the quarry in action.
Our team have been clearing scrub to keep the view point clear.

📷A pond tidy as part of a quarry office maintenance contract.
This pond needed a good tidy up after winter, with weeds removed, dead vegetation cleared and new oxygenated pond plants added.
Hopefully the resident Koi was happy!

Using our MEWP, we worked with ecologists inspecting magpie nests as part of a research project studying corvid intelligence, including birds’ behaviour, how they grow and learn, and the speed of development.

Back in February we worked alongside @savebutterflies to carry out targeted scrub and vegetation clearance to help create and restore vital habitat for the Dingy Skipper butterfly.
