Pastor Campus Latino de Hickory Grove Baptist Church

[Clint Pressley @pastorclint]

Spent about an hour with this dude this morning. I’d probably read anything @jaredcwilson wrote and this is especially good.

[Hickory Grove Baptist Church @DiscoverHGBC]

Join us in congratulating our Senior Pastor, Clint Pressley, who was re-elected today for a second and final term as President of the Southern Baptist Convention at its Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas.

This tremendous honor will allow him to continue representing the nearly 50,000 SBC churches that cooperate for the sake of missions, church planting, and theological education. His steady leadership has served our convention well.

Join us this Sunday, June 15th, as we congratulate the Pressley’s and pray for them as they serve our church and the wider Southern Baptist Convention in the year ahead.

Mucho de nuestro estancamiento espiritual se debe a nuestra necia costumbre de hacer lo que nos gusta, lo que nos conviene, lo que nos da la gana... sin medir las consecuencias.

After the absolute avalanche of graffiti in American cities, arresting pro-life activists for chalking on the sidewalk is petty and absurd and broadcasts selective enforcement.

Truth without love is harshness; it gives us information but in such a way that we cannot really hear it. Love without truth is sentimentality; it supports and affirms us but keeps us in denial about our flaws.
