🇺🇦 Marta Kostyuk ML (@ 1.74/-135)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
Everyone is losing their minds over how easily Mirra Andreeva just dismantled Sorana Cirstea by suffocating her with elite baseline defense. But Andreeva is about to run straight into a taste of her own medicine. Kostyuk is riding an absolute 17 match heater and remains completely undefeated during this clay court swing.
The Ukrainian has transformed into a literal fortress from the back of the court, meaning Andreeva isn't going to be able to just sit back and dictate play with her favorite backhand wing like she usually does. We are going to see some absolutely grueling, marathon rallies between two elite athletes, but Kostyuk has the physical tools and the baseline depth to completely neutralize the teenager's strengths.
The mental side and recent head-to-head history here heavily favor our side. These two just faced off in the Madrid final a few weeks ago, and Kostyuk completely handled her nerves, dictating the tempo and walking away with a dominant straight sets victory.
Even though this is Kostyuk’s first ever Grand Slam semifinal compared to Andreeva's second, the Ukrainian has faced a much tougher road to get here. She has put together a higher quality of matches all fortnight and is currently hunting for her third top-10 win in a row.
While Andreeva has looked dominant, she hasn't faced an opponent who can mirror her defensive intensity and force her to hit that extra ball. If Kostyuk snatches an early lead and applies heavy pressure from the jump, the mental burden is going to shift entirely onto the younger Russian.
There’s obviously going to be some serious emotional tension out there given the geopolitical backdrop of this matchup, but Kostyuk is in an incredibly inspired mood and has shown the maturity required to keep her composure locked in.

🇮🇹 Matteo Berrettini ML (@ 1.58/-172)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
Let's be totally honest about the physical reality of this match. Matteo Arnaldi is an absolute warrior, and his comeback win against Frances Tiafoe was incredible to watch. But the dude has spent more time on the court than anyone else in this tournament. He is coming off back to back grueling five set marathons, and he was already being pushed to four sets in his opening rounds.
You simply cannot survive that much warfare of attrition and expect to have the explosive legs needed for a Grand Slam quarterfinal. Arnaldi’s game relies on extending points, grinding from the baseline, and consistently getting tough returns back in play. When your legs are heavy and you're running on pure fumes, that defensive grinding style completely falls apart.
On the flip side, Berrettini is walking into this match with a massive freshness advantage. He just taking care of business against Juan Manuel Cerundolo in straight sets. Sure, he had to look adversity in the face and save multiple set points in that third set, but he turned it around beautifully. That tells you everything you need to know about his mental state right now, he is raising his game impressively in the absolute biggest moments, and he simply possesses way more "bottle" and clutch DNA when the pressure spikes.
People completely forget how elite Berrettini is on this surface because injuries forced him to miss the last four French Opens. The former Wimbledon finalist is a six time tournament winner on clay for a reason. His heavy serve and absolute rocket of a forehand are devastating weapons on the red dirt.
Arnaldi is definitely going to try and exploit Berrettini’s backhand wing, which looked a little bit susceptible in his last match. But because Berrettini is so much fresher, he’s going to be able to use his superior movement to shield his backhand and dictate play with his massive forehand instead.
With Arnaldi struggling to find his legs after his recent marathons, he won't be able to cope with the sheer, overwhelming power coming off Berrettini's racquet. The veteran is playing some of the best tennis of his life, he's got the physical edge, and he knows exactly how to close out these high stakes matches.

🇷🇺 Anna Kalinskaya ML (@ 1.84/-119)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
Look, let's give credit where it's due, Chwalinska's run has been an incredible Cinderella story. The qualifier has completely blown past expectations to reach the final eight in Paris. But let's be totally real for a second, she’s a triple digit ranked player who is completely out of her depth at this late stage of a major. She has barely played any matches at this elite level, let alone under the crushing pressure of a Grand Slam quarterfinal on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
This is completely uncharted territory for her, and these fairy tales always hit a brutal reality check when the lights get bright. Meanwhile, Kalinskaya is a seasoned, high level competitor who knows exactly what it takes to navigate the deep end of massive tournaments. People are acting like she's a total shocker to be here too, but they're completely blind to her track record. This isn't her first rodeo, she already proved she can handle the intense pressure of a Grand Slam quarterfinal back at the 2024 Australian Open, and she even made a massive run to a WTA 1000 final in Dubai. She has the heavy baseline weapons, the tactical maturity, and the big match pedigree to completely dictate how this match unfolds. She’s battle tested and ready for the moment. When you can get a top-tier, proven player with legitimate big-stage experience at nearly even money against an underdog qualifier who has already maxed out her tournament, you don't overthink it. Kalinskaya’s class is going to shine through the moment the intensity cranks up, and she’s going to systematically pull Chwalinska out of her comfort zone.

🇧🇷 João Fonseca ML (@ 1.66/-152)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
When you look at how this plays out on the dirt, Fonseca has the clear upper hand. Both of these guys are supreme talents who love to play ultra aggressive, first strike tennis, but Fonseca’s baseline game on clay is just fundamentally superior. The Brazilian has been putting on an absolute clinic when it comes to point construction and absorbing heavy pressure from the back of the court. Once they get into heavy baseline exchanges, Fonseca’s explosive forehand wing is going to be the biggest weapon on the court, allowing him to completely overpower his opponent. Match that up with a backhand that is more than steady enough to absorb whatever heat comes his way, and Fonseca has all the tools to dictate exactly how these rallies unfold.
The physical and mental reality of this matchup is where the real betting value is sitting. Fonseca has easily been the steadier, more convincing player throughout the entire fortnight, knocking off a gauntlet of opponents with genuine clay court pedigree while looking completely locked in even when he's red-lining his game. On the flip side, his opponent has been playing with absolute fire all week, constantly struggling to hold onto leads and letting matches get way tighter than they should be.
More importantly, the conditioning factor is heavily skewed here. While Fonseca has been controlling his matches beautifully, his opponent is walking into the second week completely running on empty after surviving a brutal, exhausting five set war against Andrey Rublev. Fonseca is going to have way more gas left in the tank to handle a long match. Now, the opposition definitely brings a massive, dangerous serve to the table that can keep things close if it stays hot, but Fonseca has been countering with incredible serving precision of his own.
The Brazilian is riding a massive wave of confidence, his clay court movement is pristine, and he has the perfect physical edge against a tired opponent. This match is fully on Fonseca's racquet, and he is going to run away with it to secure a spot in the semifinals.

I’m completely locking in the Matteo Berrettini moneyline to take care of business against Juan Manuel Cerundolo. Both of these guys are heading into this match after surviving absolute five set horror shows in their previous rounds, so the entire outcome is going to boil down to physical recovery. While both took a massive hit to the gas tank, the physical toll is going to catch up to the Argentine way faster. Cerundolo’s entire game is built around insane lateral movement, relentless baseline grinding, and heavy topspin. When you play that style on heavy clay while running on empty, your legs eventually betray you, and you start leaving short balls all over the court.
That is a fatal mistake against someone with the ungodly firepower that Berrettini brings to the table. A lot of casual fans completely forget how dangerous the Italian is on this surface because frustrating injuries have kept him on the sidelines and away from Paris for years. The reality is that the red dirt is actually where he has captured the bulk of his career titles, and his clay court pedigree is absolutely elite. He doesn’t need to engage in endless, grueling twenty shot rallies to win points because his massive first serve and devastating forehand combination allow him to dictate and end points whenever he wants. Cerundolo has been riding a wave of solid momentum, but he simply lacks the heavy weapons to neutralize Matteo's raw power once the Italian starts connecting on his groundstrokes. As long as Berrettini has recovered enough to stand tall and swing, his heavy weapons are going to completely overwhelm the Argentine and secure a spot in the next round.

🇳🇴 Casper Ruud vs 🇧🇷 João Fonseca
Over 3.5 Sets (@ 1.55/-182)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
First of all, both of these guys are practically playing on their third or fourth lives in this tournament, and neither one seems to know how to play a quick match right now. Ruud has been through absolute hell and back, surviving a brutal five set opening round and then turning around to save match points in a nearly five hour epic against Tommy Paul. The Norwegian is a proven elite clay court warrior, but he is clearly showing some vulnerability and dropping chunks of sets to guys who push him physically. On the other side, the 19 year old Brazilian phenom, Fonseca, is playing with absolute house money and zero fear. The kid has literally come back from two sets down twice already this week, including an insane five set shocker where he knocked out Novak Djokovic. Both players are running on pure adrenaline and heavy emotional highs, meaning we're bound to see massive swings in momentum as their legs get a bit heavy at different points in the match.
The scheduling and weather conditions for this marquee night session on Court Philippe-Chatrier completely play into a long, drawn-out battle. The temperatures are dropping in Paris, which means the clay is going to be playing much slower with a significantly lower bounce. This is far from ideal for Ruud because it neutralizes the heavy, high jumping topspin on his forehand, making it way harder for him to hit through the court and easily dictate points. Meanwhile, Fonseca has that raw, explosive, ungodly baseline power to hit clean winners through literally any conditions on earth. The youngster is going to be stepping inside the baseline and absolutely peppering Ruud's backhand wing with massive forehands. Fonseca completely has the weapons to dictate play and snatch sets right off Ruud's racquet. However, Ruud is way too experienced, physically resilient, and tactically smart on this surface to just roll over. He’s going to use his elite defensive grit to extend the rallies, force the teenager to hit extra balls, and wait for the kid's high risk radar to go off.
There is just zero chance either guy walks away with a clean 3-0 sweep here. Fonseca’s hyper aggressive style guarantees he’ll leak unforced errors and drop a set or two when his timing fluctuates, but his sheer peak power ensures he’ll take a massive bite out of Ruud, who is already struggling to close out matches cleanly anyway.

🇺🇸 Hailey Baptiste + 🇷🇴 Sorana Cirstea MLP (@ 1.85/-118)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❤️
Hailey Baptiste is playing with pure house money right now and her confidence has to be through the roof. She just pulled off an insane, gutsy comeback in the opening round, showing serious ice in her veins to save match points and knock out a former Grand Slam champion. The girl has been a total breakout star this season, and unlike a lot of American players who hate the dirt, her athletic movement and heavy baseline game actually thrive on the red clay. She's already proven she can go toe to toe with the absolute elite of the tour this year, and she loves to step up inside the court to dictate play and suffocate her opponents.
Xiyu Wang is walking straight into a trap. She has barely logged any competitive tennis this entire year and had to grind through the qualifiers just to get to this stage. She is severely lacking match sharpness, and going up against someone as physical and dialed-in as Baptiste right now is a nightmare scenario. The physical toll of playing those extra qualifying matches is going to catch up to her early, and she just doesn't have the rhythm to handle the pressure coming from across the net.
---------------------------------------------------------
Sorana Cirstea is playing some of the most clinical tennis of her entire career right now, putting together an insane season with nearly 30 victories already under her belt. She absolutely cruised through her opening-round match without breaking a sweat, and you can just tell she is on a mission. This is her official "last dance" at this tournament, and that farewell tour energy is giving her an unbelievable mental edge, she’s playing with zero pressure and maximum fire.
Across the net, Eva Lys is a talented young player, but she has seriously hit a wall trying to back up her breakout performances from last year, and she historically struggles whenever she has to step up in class against the world's elite. While Lys looked decent in her opener, she simply doesn't possess the heavy weapons or the baseline depth to disrupt someone who is firing on all cylinders. Cirstea's raw pace, heavier groundstrokes, and massive structural experience are going to completely dictate the rhythm of these rallies from the very first serve. The veteran is just too sharp and too locked in to let a younger opponent throw her off script here.

🏀 O SALVADOR DO TIMBERWOLVES HOJE!
