This is flat out a lie.

Kalshi Crypto cleared $6.2B in notional volume in July.
Another month another massive growth story.
Up a whopping $2.2b from the prior ATH ($4b) in June, and up ~52x since I took over this role in November 2025.
Kalshi now captures 87% of global crypto predictions market share as well, up from 10% in January.
All gas. No brakes. $10b/month coming soon
On April 6th @AbdulElSayed had only a 27% chance of winning the Democratic Primary. On April 7th he campaigned with @hasanthehun. Look at what happens to his odds of victory after that moment.
The establishment thought elevating and attacking Hasan would help them but it only helped clarify for Dem voters which candidate actually stood for human rights.
Marex clients just hedged $600k on the Fed hiking rates 25bps via Kalshi
Compared to futures, Kalshi was 25% cheaper
Michael Bender, a broker at XFA (a division of Marex), says, "This represents a new type of hedging that many clients are keen to access"
It took only two months for a federal judge to stop Minnesota from enacting this law.
They tried to ban prediction markets, turn users into felons, and criminalize service providers.
The worst part: the rationale used to ban prediction markets could be broadly applied to any financial market with speculation, which means all financial markets.
The upside here is unclear: make the casino lobby happy? The downside is obvious: limit competition, create chaos, and hurt the consumers they’re trying to protect.
States can’t just go around banning things they don’t have jurisdiction over.
If the real concern is about taxes or consumer protection, there are better ways to address that and we’re open to chat.

6 years with the love of my life today. I truly believe the most important thing in life is finding your soulmate. Once you do, everything else falls into place.
I’m obsessed with you, meu amor. Here’s to the next 6! (factorial, not exclamation) ♥️
Election markets have been my dream since the start of Kalshi. The holy grail of prediction markets, they shed light on some of the most consequential, decentralized and human processes in the world, where good data is crucial and hard to find.
Working on the midterms hub was awesome - it’s a massive responsibility bringing this to the world. It’s changed the way I interacted with the electoral process and made me smarter - I hope it does the same to you :)
We just launched the Kalshi Midterms Hub. It will house all information about elections in one place: prediction market data, maps, polling, news, fundraising, historical results, and KPOW.
Historically, political news has primarily come from a few established gatekeepers like mainstream media, pollsters, and select pundits.
While that information flow from top to bottom may have been necessary given tech constraints, the views and biases of elites were inherently baked into the political reporting. Prediction markets change that by giving us measures that flow in the opposite direction, bottoms-up, from the people rather than down from elites.
While trust in prediction market data is increasing rapidly, there are skeptics. So we want people to look at them next to the alternative sources of information and make their own independent assessments.
Today, we're batch shipping 80% of the mobile code we’ve written this past quarter.
First, a breakdown of the other 20%: across 42 releases, our 5-person squad launched the first perpetual futures in the US and trading experiences (explore overhaul, 15-minute charts, live chat, World-Cup hub, inner-circle, etc.) that have led Kalshi to top the App Store rankings for most of the past month.
But all of this was just a fraction of the team’s firepower. At night, we were quietly working on a big project: “V2”, a complete rewrite of our app and the biggest technical leap I’ve seen since I joined the company 6 years ago.
4000 commits and 1 million lines later, the numbers are in and they justify the crazy sprint we just went through:
- CPU usage: 369% peak -> 15% peak
- Memory use: 350M -> 70MB
- Install size: 315MB -> 95MB (for reference: RH @ 934MB, Coinbase @ 310MB)
- External dependencies: 94 -> 11
- Test coverage: 17% -> 100%
When you get the update, Kalshi should immediately feel significantly faster, smoother, sleeker, and more responsive.
For our product velocity, V2 represents a massive shift as well: we now have a single codebase from which the team can push changes to our backend, iOS, and Android builds. The only code that runs on the client is the code that the team wants to run on the client. We have end-to-end type safety, CI with version-tagged deploys, and client<->server integration tests. We’d already gotten in the habit of daily releases, but with our latest tooling, it’s now a breeze.
We’re keeping the team lean, but if you are incredibly talented, work hard, and want to build the next generation financial market,. DM me or apply on our careers website.
