I guess groundbreaking all of the gender stuff is to people who have only known a CIS world. I grew up in a very small town but was raised to respect everyone's preferences and rights.

I was yelled at once for misgendering someone and I felt awful. I was also upset though at how they approached it. They were likely worn down from expning
