Our goal is to empower the Lucy Cavendish College community with the ability to spot, seize and take action on opportunities that create positive impact
We have the great honor to have Nicola Filzmoser with the Lucy Community on the 20th of June. The event will happen at Wolfson Room, Strathaird at 6 pm.
Nicola is the co-founder of HappyrHealth. She is the winner of Innovate UK Women in Innovation & Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2021. She will share her experiences along her entrepreneurial journey with the attendees.
It's been a year already!Β Absolutely fantastic journey so far! We couldn't have done it without our amazing members and our very wonderful advisors: Rachael Burcher, Bruno Cotta, @RichardHHobbs.
Here's to many more years of growth and success! πππ
We collaborated with Stanford Biodesign Alumni, Aishwarya Venkatramani to organize a needs-driven innovation workshop at @LucyCavColl. The two-day event explored the process of uncovering patient needs and developing solutions to healthcare problems. #healthcareinnovation#health

Healthcare transformation is being catalysed by new #innovations, #technology, and #healthcare problems.
The #Cambridge Biodesign Workshop, organised by Aishwarya Venkatramani, @SUBiodesign Alumni, in collaboration with the @LucEntSoc, explored how #ideas can be developed into products that benefit the entire community.
The founder's matchmaking event was a tremendous success. Thanks to our collaborators at @CUTEC - Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club,@UCamEnterprise and @CreatorFund for helping to make this possible.
On 16 March, @CreatorFund, @CUTEC, #CambridgeUniversity#Entrepreneurs, and @LucEntSoc collaborated to organise a founders matching event for the #Cambridge#entrepreneurial ecosystem.
For a third year in a row, the event drew several participants, who were seeking like-minded individuals to team up with and start a new venture. ππ‘

On the 17th of March, the Lucy Enterprise Committee and our advisors Racheal and Bruno visited the House of Lords with Lord Bilimoria who founded the Cobra Beer company and served as the president of the Confederation of British Industry.#cambridgeuniversity#lucycavendishcollege
He is also a member of the House of Lords and has played an active role in shaping UK policies related to business and education.
We were able to learn about the inner workings of the UK parliamentary system, and the role that the House of Lords plays in shaping national policy.
He also answered questions related to the parliamentary system, discussing topics such as the role of the House of Lords, the legislative process, and the relationship between the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
After the introduction, we had a Q&A session with Lord Bilimoria, during which he shared valuable insights and advice about his career path as a successful entrepreneur and politician.
Have you thought about founding or joining a startup but don't know whom to team up with? Well, that's why we are here! π
@LucEntSoc is very excited to team up with @CreatorFund, @CUTEC, and @cu_e to bring you the Cambridge Founders Matchmaking event!
