@DomeKeeper My wife and I play this all the time! We love local playing but do you intend to implement matchmaking so that we can play with others online?
I’m gonna simply say this: if you are at all interested in a Stargate show with ANY of the original creators/performers involved, now is the time to say something. Otherwise it really will be the end of that chapter forever. Let them know you are THERE

The CSB is a collection of polygons representing individual field boundaries throughout CONUS. I wrote a #Python script to generate a single category for each one based on the CDL sequence (e.g. Corn, Soybeans, Corn, Soybeans, Corn, etc. : 2-year Corn Soybeans rotation)
Just wanted to try Grok and ask him a simple question about proxmox (a tool we're using at work) and I think I broke it
@xai, not so sure about the "world's smartest AI" yet
Continuing on my "Engineering my Wedding" kick, I've done a Monte-Carlo simulation reviewing potential RSVP scenarios to estimate the number of attendees. There's an 80% chance that we'll have up to 240 guests given the actual state of the list! #python#wedding
My future wife works in Memphis, TN and I in Oxford, MS. I decided to create isochrone maps of commute times for both of us and compute the difference to narrow down where we want to get our new place! (Greener is better)

@smartereveryday I used to love spending time on Reddit but I left it and never looked back. The only useful thing about it were reviews for very specific things which I can still access with a google search + reddit
@ringo_ring@moral_psych True. The profit driven system of scientific publications is exhausting and leads to low quality publications. In the meantime it is a journal-by-journal decision regarding their own policies and editorial decisions. Hope you find a home for your article! (& Thanks for Sci-Hub!)

Some of their practices are suspicious. The most striking to me is the high number of special issues where they can have a guest editor that will publish a single paper in an issue and they are themselves in the list of authors.
