Nella giornata di oggi è stato abbattuto l'antico platano di fronte al Chiosco Giannasi, in piazza Buozzi, ormai da tempo in cattive condizioni e giudicato un pericolo per la sicurezza. Dorando Giannasi ha seguito tutte le operazioni con grande commozione. Ad ogni sguardo sembrava dicesse: "Addio mio amatissimo platano".
