@dominicpaolucc1 A meteor that enters Earths atmosphere which is then considered a meteoroid burns up in the mesosphere. If it doesn't burn up completely and hits the ground it is then considered as a meteorite :)
@tbird_phys273 @m_daveys If you have 40/40 on the original tweets then you are finished that section Obviously you will not get more points until you finish the mentioned section which is replying to posts like what I'm doing right now to you Just keep replying to other peoples posts and it will increase
@Maty1133 Supposedly montreal is building a new electric train that will cover the island pretty well it will even go to the airport. This should be very good. Its only a matter of time they progress with public transit soon enough the roads will be way too crowded
@tbird_phys273 Honestly. Just publishing this on the news isnt enough to teach people how to do it right. They should put more effort in educating the public on how to recycle properly since its wasting a lot of money and energy to clean it up....
@tbird_phys273 I agree. There are so many ways they can make use of recycled material they just dont. We can learn a lot from other countries such as Sweden
@TA_Andrew_P273 @NB_PHYS273 @MartinStorer400 if trump was in town he would of said something like Global Warming??? Its freezing outside and its the month of April LOL
@tbird_phys273 Ive heard about quebec shipping recycling to china a few years back but didn't know they do not want it no more... Im glad at the end they said it wouldn't go to landfills so i hope it doesn't since it would defeat the whole purpose of recycling..
@TA_Andrew_P273 @MOSTAFAGOMAH7 @NB_PHYS273 Guess if we had loads of turbines here they would of shut them down since we had like 90km winds... Thought it would of been good for wind turbines to generate electricity... guess not.
@frank_canuto This stuff is actually really cute. It be nice to see these in parks and even in city centers brings more character to our surroundings and best of all it generates power
@MartinStorer400 They seem to be progressing little by little in developed countries which is making a difference but not bug enough of a difference. There are so many ways to reduce co2 emissions and clean up the harm that has already been done but it costs $$$$
There are various technologies that can be implemented such as direct air capture which act as trees to filter out the air, biochar which store carbon and fertilize soil, iron fertilization in oceans to enhance biological productivity in marine ecosystems to reduce co2 and more
Carbon sequestration or capture and storage is a process of capturing waste carbon dioxide from large point sources like fossil fuel power plants and depositing underground so it doesn't enter the atmosphere
Carbon taxing has also shown some processing results by taxing polluting emitting companies or consumers so they emit less. We already see this in our gas prices being taxed around 0.8 cents per L. In BC its 7.2 cents/L.
Cap and Trade is one method to help reduce and control pollution. Limits/caps are set and sold by authorities on how much pollution can be emitted and cannot exceed it. Those who need to can purchase from factories for example who haven't.
@JueRuChen1@Yurun_Wang I hope it does. Anything to reduce the amount of pollution for their health and for the environment. Unfortunately we kind of play a huge role in the pollution caused there since everything is made in china but then again if we don't buy they lose jobs... The system sucks
@ElliottTarek Yes thats it thanks. It is very sad. i even remember learning in driving school that a bit of CO always enters the car when we drive so its always great to leave the windows a bit open but dont in the winter of course.
