My bank decided to freeze my account over a crypto transfer for zero fucking reason.
I have the ultra platinum black premium blablabla account so I get to talk to a human.
The human's name ends in -'jeet'.
This worries me.
Within a millisecond he hits me with this:
"Yeah, that happens sometimes. We have a bit of backlog. Please give us up to 28 business days to sort this out"
28 business days.
twenty eight business days
TWENTY EIGHT BUSINESS DAYS.
This is why you need multiple bank accounts.
Every single bank sucks.
Every.
Single.
One.
I'm no relationship expert, let's get that out the way first.
But here's something that genuinely works when things have gone a bit cold.
Pick whoever winds you up the most, then flip it. Instead of asking what's wrong with them, ask what you've not been acknowledging in them. Then just say it out loud. "I saw what you did today, cheers for that."
Drop that mental scoreboard we all keep of everything we do for people. Stop needing the credit and watch them soften almost straight away.
Nagging is just someone who doesn't feel seen. Sort that and it stops
If you don’t “have time” to exercise.
You don’t have time to improve the only vessel with which you experience the world and to prolong your life as a whole.
Then please tell me. What is it you DO have time for?
How about I retire? Spend time with Andrew.
Study piano and Russian.
Read endless literature and poetry.
Smoke cigars and raise my children.
I’ve given enough blood to the mob.
I’m no Tesla, but I can learn from him still.
@ValfatherTIME I'm not tired.
I just don't wish people I associate with to throw me into unnecessary battles.
I'll fight on my own terms when I want to.
Greatness is eternal.
Victory and defeat are moments in time.
The price of greatness is RISK.
Risk of failure, of judgment, of loss.
Andrew’s name will endure not because he never fell, but because he chose to live by his own code, and will continue to
Now his impact deepens.
Every young man whose life he has touched can see the truth
Andrew is human.
and that makes everything he has built carry greater weight.
No excuses.
No regrets.
Greatness stands before us all.
But only if we are willing to pursue it without fear.
Haram police push people away from the faith
Yes it’s an obligation to give advice
But do it in private, via DMs. That’s genuine
If you do it in public you are virtue signalling / acting superior
Niyah is not genuine
