These dogs are living on a countdown, and YOU can help!

Two are scheduled to be euthanized on 6/5, including a pregnant mama dog and what appears to be one of her puppies from a previous litter. Two more puppies, estimated around 8–12 months old, are scheduled for euthanasia on 6/8. All four are currently on stray hold and are set to be euthanized once those holds expire, simply because the shelter does not have space.

Read that again.
Not because they’re aggressive.
Not because they’re suffering.
Not because they are sick.
Not because they did anything wrong.

Because there is no room.

A pregnant dog carrying babies while sitting on a euthanasia list is something that should break every single one of us a little. These puppies never asked to be born into this cycle. They exist because of irresponsible owners. (This is exactly why spaying and neutering is so important. Unfixed pets turn into unwanted litters, overflowing shelters, and eventually dogs with deadlines!)

My niece and I are currently busting our butts trying to prepare our home so we can take them in before time runs out. We’re moving things around, cleaning, setting up kennels, gathering supplies, figuring out food, vetting, transport, literally doing everything we can to make room for dogs that the world seems ready to give up on.
