believe that this is an evolutionary instinct, perfected over time, for selecting partners. It is on a different level for both sexes and often defies logic when people only see the superficial. A woman can know who you are from observing you more than you know yourself as a man.
When it comes to partner selection, women are much more ruthless than men realize. I still remember someone telling me that she decides whether to sleep with someone within less than one minute of meeting them. This was after I had spent months chasing her, thinking I was successful because of my effort.
She had made up her mind the minute that we met. She had also planned the relationship's future and knew it was just physical because she saw I wasn't ready to commit quickly.
She said something I would never forget: "You are a firstborn, but you don't behave like one." I was still living with my uncle then. I moved out later, when another girl I was dating insisted she would stop visiting me if I didn't.
One of women's purposes in relationships is to refine men. I am better off as a man because of the many relationships I have had. I learned from the gift of feedback.
Women also have the benefit of numbers: men ask them out more, and they have a larger pool from which to assess and draw inferences. All the rejections I have had have been very helpful, as they have helped me improve myself until I found the one that I truly loved and loved me back for just being me.
The tragedy is that women rarely handle similar rejections well, as they are rare. They would rather adapt to people whom they fear would reject them, and that is how they end up in bad relationships. It is hard for confident women to end up in bad relationships, as they don't fear rejection.
Men who fear rejection are also the worst in humanity. They turn out to be monsters. Rejection and learning are all parts of character development. This is why I encourage young people to date widely and learn more about themselves before committing to any long-term relationship or marriage.
China educated ALL rural children before it started building the massive infrastructure
Nigeria was ahead and richer than China in terms of GDP per capita from 1960 to the late 1970s; this was not because of oil, it's because Nigeria educated everyone for free
No economy on Earth has grown without an increase in education spending. There is a positive correlation between educational achievement and GDP per capita
You can argue, or you can do your own research
Hi @followlasg
I really do not think you enjoy putting commuter through stress nor desire joy in chaos.
If so, you have not fully opened a road (Ijora - Eko) that creates gridlock then connecting outer Marina is now a project. This is not right. Please help ease traffic. Thanks
They say it takes a certain spirit to build from nothing. A certain rhythm to turn struggle into song. A certain kind of faith to look at tomorrow and say "that is mine to make." It is the impossible drive of the Nigerian heart, the one that creates global fashion from a tiny room in Ajegunle, world-class tech from generator-powered hubs, and turns "no way" into "watch me do it anyway."

We are pleased to note the feedback from workers who have received their salaries for January 2026 and confirmed a reduction in their PAYE tax resulting in higher take home pay under the new tax laws.
To ensure that relevant individuals charged with the responsibility to implement these changes for the benefit of employees in their organisations are well informed, the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee is hosting a session for the key stakeholders in collaboration with the Joint Revenue Board.

@Chima_Obi1234 This is so sad. It's high time medical practitioners are held accountable.
This act of negligence is becoming too much.
So sorry for the loss.
@abdullahayofel Let's do a math. By how much, in percentage, has peoples salaries increased by from Buhari's term (going farther before Tinubu)?
Then compare that to how much the price of items have gone up since Tinubu came to power.
You can keep the answer to yourself.
We are just surviving
@BalogunKakanfo1 This is the funniest thing I have read this Christmas day.
So his problem is because he married an Ibo woman. Wonderful
And IPOB caused mayhem in Lagos during #EndSARS. Wonderful.
Please just go straight and express your dislike towards Ibos. Stop giving stories.
@ceraliza Accept the 20k in good fate. The thought counts.
Then use your own money for the other expenses since the 20k isn't enough.
Everybody played their part toward the celebration.
Merry Christmas
@OgbeniDipo Yes I agree that Lagos needs to break.
Also, I understand there will be pressure due to population, but remember no state generate as much IGR as Lagos. That means, the more the population, the better our IGR. That means the roads can be fixed.
Greetings boss.
@_James041@asemota Long before that, the Policymakers interpreted those things they do not understand as forbidden. That also speaks to healing someone tagged as cursed was taken to be voodoo.
