I think too many people are quick to want to “replace” Trevin Wallace.
He’s been in the NFL for two years and still younger than Jacob Rodriguez. Linebackers historically take longer to develop (just look at Devin Lloyd!), and Wallace has largely not really been utilized to his fullest potential, IMO.
Think he’ll be much better playing alongside a true green dot rather than having to play that role himself.
Wallace was always more of a point-and-shoot linebacker than an instinctual one.
That said, still think Carolina needs another early-down backer in the fold.
@_JaceWhite_ Icky is ass. I didn’t want a tackle, but with BYs contract coming up it makes sense not to pay Icky unless he moves to guard. I don’t think he’d be a good RT. DT should’ve been the pick or trade out of that spot
