Well it hasn’t really been practical before now.

The team at @pudgypenguins just fixed this.

Today we move NFTs forward again with our beta launch of OverpassIP, a web3 native licensing platform.

This is a huge step for the next generation of brands built with community.

I presented this idea to the team 1 month after purchasing Pudgy as a way to get holders involved in our web2 brand efforts.

But there was a problem. We had 0 team, money or bandwidth to build it.

Enter the Penguineering team, a group of chad developers from the community who answered the call and wanted to build the future of web3.

Over the next year this group worked day and night between their jobs and on weekends to build a concept into reality.

We navigated a complex legal and technical landscape to build a product that was well designed and easy to use. The goal was to do NFT licensing in 3 clicks.

We accomplished that:
Select NFT -> review legal -> sign agreement

The platform was born from a problem we needed to solve for our own brand growth. Today it is a gift to web3 allowing everyone to truly build together.
