Moreover, the whole crypto-ecomonic security is easy to say but difficult to realize: for example, if an L2 proposer fails/crashes due to load (and not malicious/rational behaviors) and L2 goes down for long, will that proposer be slashed? Securely marrying game theory with network asynchrony is difficult, and some things are purely impossible for crypto-economic security.

On the other hand, we have L1 architectures that touch hundreds of Ktps at < 1 sec latency. At Supra, we see that we can offer all that L2s strive for at L1.
