@EwokJerky While I admittedly wasn't considering this from the angle of actively paying the corporation to play their game, I maintain my position that giving up and moving on from a space because people you don't like have invaded it is handing them the win that they want.

@lazer_groove I once made the mistake of letting someone do this with a heavy bolter, back before the rules change to bolter damage.

I distinctly recall there was a moment he rolled 7 (14) hits on some guy and I told him not to bother, because that guy was dead in a way that took paragraphs.

@lazer_groove Depending on the game ruleset and edition it's possible to create twin linked storm bolters and just get a pair of huge quad-guns.

Those same rulesets will make you pay out the nose in ammo.

@HubPointless That was objectively the funniest fight in the entire franchise because King Ghidorah shows up and the entire rest of the monsters just go "Get him!" and jump the guy.

For example, I tend to say 'Would you like to joust?' a lot.

They have a very different and much more gothic problem.
