God literally CALLED me out of a life full of sin, fear and doubt. I’m far from perfect but He is sooo good. I have had my doubts about His goodness but y’all He is the only good thing about this life and the fact that He called me and is continually calling me has me shook.
Imagine cheering at the idea of human beings being eaten by alligators and somehow still expecting us to believe you are “pro life,” let alone a follower of Jesus.
I truly do not care if food stamps cover junk food.
It doesn't affect me.
But do you know who it does affect?
The kid who wouldn't get a birthday cake otherwise.
The one who only knows what it's like to say
"no" in the snack aisle.
The one who just wants to feel like every other child for one day.
Let them have the cake.
Let them have the chips at the birthday party.
Let them feel normal because poverty is already isolating enough.
If you've never had to choose between groceries and gas, sit this one out.
