Most people in the world look at "religion" as a personal hobby. You go to church or a temple, then you go to work, vote, and follow secular laws. These are separate boxes.

After 11 years as a sports columnist at the Seattle Times, I have decided to resign. It was entirely my choice, and it was not an easy one. The impetus was the Times declining to run a column I wrote from the perspective of two female student athletes who were opposed to competing against biological males. When I hear propaganda that male illegal immigrants from countries where women have no rights are mostly "doctors and engineers" I shudder. Not just because it's untrue, but even if, let's say for argument's sake, it was true - so what? They are still men from countries where rape of women and children by men is rampant and goes unpunished.

The countries these men come from are mostly backward and deteriorated hell holes, precisely because men are so depraved and violent. Even "doctors and engineers" risk crossing the Channel in dinghies because they know they'll be housed in accommodation they could only dream of at home, given money, help and opportunity to work in our system which, as bad as it is, still betters theirs by a mile.

And if they break our laws, instead of losing an eye, a hand, or their life, they'll be given endless understanding for their "cultural differences", lenient sentences and often just let out back into society.

Importantly, all the men who come illegaly to the UK , whether they studied at university or not, come here jacked up on Western pornography. Studies have shown that an extraordinary number of hits on porn websites comes from places like Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries where these men are allegedly escaping from. There are videos circulating of some male migrants saying they are coming to the UK "to fuck", and rampant sexual assault of not just women and children but lately vulnerable men too, by these illegal immigrants, testifies to this not being an iseolated case.

Pornification of Western society has, therefore, had far more reaching harmful infuence than what we first thought. It's not just our boys who are raping girls because they've been exposed to it fromage 9. It's not just our men who are choking women during sex, drugging them, filming them and assaulting them. That is bad enough. But now we have hordes of foreign men flocking to our societies, from countries where women have no agency and rights, jacked up on porn films that show Western women and girls as pliable, insatiable willing whores.

What have you men done, you fucking bastards? If you have an ounce of empathy, responsibility and remorse, go fix this abhorrent mess NOW.

I used to visit an elderly Holocaust survivor who lived in a nursing home. Almost every time I saw her, she would tell me the same story.

She and her pregnant sister arrived at Auschwitz together. The Nazis saw two young, strong, healthy women and initially selected them to work in the kitchen. Just as they were about to join the line of those being kept alive, they became suspicious that her sister was pregnant. They ordered her to run. When they saw her struggling, they knew.

Her sister was sent to her death.

She told me that story every time I visited. The details never changed. And every time she told it, it felt as though she was back there, reliving that moment all over again.

One night when I was walking home from work, unbeknownst to me - I was being followed.

I screamed, ran up a hill to escape, and watched him blow kissing faces in my direction as I fled.

When I reported this to the police, I found out that several other girls in the same area had been targeted by the same man. It took around two years, but he was eventually deported.

Shana Grice was 19. She asked Sussex Police for help five times in six months. They fined her.

That is why her mother is standing outside this police station holding Shana’s photograph.

Michael Lane tracked Shana’s car, assaulted her and stole a key to enter her bedroom. Once, she hid under the duvet listening to him breathe.

But because Shana had not initially disclosed their past relationship, an officer gave her a £90 fine for “wasting police time”.

The trial judge later said police had “jumped to conclusions” and stereotyped her. The police watchdog found that the officer’s actions affected Shana’s confidence and may have stopped her reporting Lane’s continued harassment.

On 25 August 2016, Lane entered Shana’s home and murdered her. He was jailed for life with a minimum of 25 years.

One former officer was found to have committed gross misconduct and was barred from policing. Another committed misconduct. Sussex Police apologised and changed its procedures.

Shana went to the people meant to protect her. Their response taught a frightened teenager that asking again could get her punished.

That failure was indefensible.
