In the group's research seminar this week, researcher @LuciaKorpas shared how she conducted a quantitative analysis of governance surfaces in DAOs and her results: https://t.co/bsoDSMHOAt
New paper up!
Who is in crypto and what are their beliefs about economics, politics, and governance? Precisely how elusive is the mythical cryptolefty? We asked.

Thanks @LuciaKorpas + @joshuaztan + Metagov .org for being awesome collaborators.
Smart contracts are promising new tools for governance, but they aren’t enough to govern a DAO. Traditional constitutions still matter. So we've studied a bunch of DAO constitutions and come up with five recommendations, plus more 👇 https://t.co/284HEJJ3FD with @verses_xyz
How can we measure decentralization in DAOs? By drawing an analogy to existing measurements of democracy, corruption, and freedom in countries. (I read all the methodologies so you don't have to!) https://t.co/pdZlbkvwNf with @metagov_project

@trueblocks@daochem We're in the process of updating the analysis + website, but currently there's a link in @daochem's bio with the API so far showing some of the data sources we are linking together!
TrueBlocks helped me track down DAO governance contracts for my #ETHDenver hackathon project @daochem! Also, the developers are very responsive on Discord :)
First Beta Release!

A contrarian call from @keikreutler for more competition in governance processes—beyond token voting, beyond voting altogether. More experimentation! #ETHDenver
Governance systems are going to be a key part of DeSci. Cool talks by @LuciaKorpas of @metagov_project and @_liviade of @GovernanceDAO that make me happy to see smart people are thinking deeply about this 💫
Are you in a DAO? Tell us about your experience in this brief survey to support @daochem, an exciting #ETHDenver#BUIDLWeek project on DAO governance! https://t.co/4HBzieIyGL

@Truth_Dan_C I don't have any experience using specific DAO tools, but if you haven't seen it, maybe DeepDAO can give you a sense of what kinds of DAOs are using which platforms (and therefore which might work well for yours): https://t.co/qkHiQAj6CG

Check out my first co-first-author paper, "Transition waves and formation of domain walls in multistable mechanical metamaterials," published today in @PhysRevApplied!
https://t.co/ArZmYe8xaq
As shown in the first video, transition waves of opposite rotation can propagate in a single system and, instead of merging, form a domain wall where they meet. The existence and location of this domain wall can be "read" from the chain end afterwards.
