if i can’t explain why i lost a game, i probably won’t care enough to play it again. i like games where a bad result gives me something to work on. maybe my timing was off, i made the wrong move, or my positioning put me in a bad spot. at least i know what i can fix. that’s one reason i will keep going back to @quipgg with games like rebound rush, slingshot sumo and dash, the outcome comes down to the mechanics of the game and how well you execute them. the physics are deterministic, so rng isn’t deciding the result for you. you can actually recognise patterns, adjust your approach and get better with practice. then the competitive side gives all of that a little more weight. you can compete using usdc or $PHYS, and using $PHYS for rake gives a 50% discount. so there is an earning layer around the games without making the game itself feel like a reward-farming exercise. i’d rather have a game where getting better is the reason i keep coming back, with the economic side adding something extra. give quip a try and see how much your own skill carries you. link in cs:
