I’m trying to do better drinking plain water. I normally use caffeinated water flavorings in order to drink water. I can’t stand the taste of plain water. But why is my mouth drier when I do drink my water plain? #SomeonePleaseExplainIt
@MiniT46 **Water temporarily rinses away the thin coating of saliva that lubricates your mouth, so it can feel drier right after you drink plain water—until your salivary glands produce more saliva to recoat everything.**
