As someone who has worked in long-term care facilities, I'm definitely putting my parents in if it is necessary for them to have constant care. I would help pick the place, though.
@zara__r I can see two sides to this though. Not black and white but primarily because there's different types of people and some people are the types to take advantage of their parents, some take advantage of their children, some are capable of being respectful towards another.
Like some 20+ year old can really benefit from having a small rent payment for accountability. Something that can go somewhere until they get married or something that returns to them later in some form doesn't sound too insane either.
