Lucius C Sulla

History 101

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

@LuciusSulla_ You've been quoted in my #Storify story "Lucius Sulla" https://t.co/IfcjSkIM7K

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Sorry for everything Rome, I'll still be around but not like before

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Now I've decided to go off and live on my farm

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I don't think people were too happy about that but I think my friends and I were pretty intimidating so no one dared say anything

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

It's now been a while and much has happened, I declared myself dictator of Rome for a bit

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I was in a rush anyway to get back to Rome, a revolution has taken place there

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

It was without supplies! Darn it I went too soon. The famine had also taken away a lot of people, it would have been simple to get the city

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

If only I had waited a little longer I could have captured that upper city without any risk.

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Sorry Athens I've brought my whole force to go against you

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Athens was forced by the tyrant Aristion to side with Mithridates

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Well I've left Rome to go take care of some things going on in Athens.

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

@karlalexander04 @SarahEBond that seems to be very true

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Turns out Sulpicius has been killed by one of his servants who betrayed him. That's one off the list. Thanks bro

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I've called a meeting of the senate and had the death sentence passed on Marius and the tribune Sulpicius, for helping him with

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I may have not gotten what I came to do but Marius is out of Rome and that's something that needed to happen. Don't come back!

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I apologize to those innocent people I've hurt, I let my anger get the best of me at this time

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

I've had it, set fire to the houses and to my archers make use of your fire arrows!

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

They were forced back to the wall.

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

Ah of course they were held up by stones being thrown and tiles being torn off the roofs by the people of Rome.

[Lucius C Sulla @LuciusSulla_]

They have done it they successfully forced their way into the city!
