@CarsauntJ@KentuckyMBB@CoachMarkPope Relentless Positivity = Delusion
It’s exhausting. A coach should like his team, and also call it like it is when things go wrong. He refuses to do that.
@JonRothstein What the hell is @CoachMarkPope talking about? “Accomplished amazing things”??? Playing on Wednesday of the SEC tournament, losing in the 2nd round of the NCAA is NOTHING to be proud about or happy about. Total epic failure across the board, starting with him… DELUSIONAL!
@KySportsRadio He is 100% a great guy with the best of intentions. His heart is in the right place.
Sadly Mark is also naive and delusional. Which is why he can’t be the coach at Kentucky.
@CoachMarkPope 1. After the Auburn game, why did you say that you refuse to “give control” to the fans?
2. Why did you decide to NOT open yourself and the team up to the fans on Selection Sunday?
3. Why have you gone radio silent for 6 weeks from the fans?
Why are you acting like this?
@OzzyMaverickX Ozzy, listen man.. it’s over. It’s hopeless. In every critical time in my life Mark Pope has let me down. It’s all over.
All I want to do is live in a rental car and steal drinks from Wal-Mart.
Out of hope, out of options. It’s all over.
@KySportsRadio Matt, it’s over man. We have a big enough sample size now that Pope can’t land top talent, can’t strategize and plan a roster, and can’t close, or put a roster together in the NIL era.
It’s over. Time to move on and look at 2027 and a coaching search.
@arkrazorbackx And Kentucky standards will not change no matter who the coach. You lose to St Peters and Oakland we send your ass packin.. no matter how big their “brand” is….
