Please help give Max life saving treatment. One of our German shepherds were just diagnosed with a brain tumor and we need to get him radiation therapy to give him some more quality time on this earth.
Even something as small as a retweet and like would be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU to all those of who donated, shared and provide us with kind support through this extremely difficult time. Max is has gone through SO MANY TESTS and finally completed radiation treatment…. Four full weeks of vet trips, new medication and many late nights. His battle isnt over; if you wouldn’t mind to continue to share his story, we are extremely grateful. Every donation provides funding for his monthly Keppra seizure meds, additive seizure meds, steroids and emergency meds to ensure his brain is as healthy as possible for the time he has left 💜 #gofundme #germanshepherd

Big win today.
-No seizures in 48 hours.
-He is eating his food again.
-He is enjoying his toys.
A little over 2 weeks until his treatment. Please continue to retweet, like, and share. We would greatly appreciate any contribution towards Max’s medical expenses.
@RelentlesslyQ Unfortunately not an option. He can’t take Ivermectin due to his MDR1 gene mutation, he also already has epilepsy. So that could cause horrible seizures for him.
Fenbendazole would destroy his liver immediately also mixing with his seizure medication,
Please help us give Max more time. One of our German shepherds were just diagnosed with a brain tumor and we need to get him radiation therapy to give him some more time on this earth.
Even something as small as a retweet and like would be greatly appreciated.

Maximum Effort, thats the phrase I would use if I had to describe our boy Max. Max is a carefree, clumsy, 5 year old black German shepherd puppy who does not realize he is as big as he is. Unfortunately, while he puts “maximum effort” into everything he is, fate continues to try to limit him and shorten his life. If you met Max, you would see the biggest goofball who has too much love to give the world; slobbery big tongued kisses, loves to wrestle, chase his siblings for their toys, full body play stances to get someone to fight him, and very VERY vocal to let you know he is in the room.
He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 2 years old, he had flipped his stomach shortly after and required extensive surgery to correct it, and now he has a brain tumor… all of this within his young life.
On April 17th, two weeks after his 5th birthday, Max was suddenly showing signs of losing motor control on the right side of his body. Upon taking him to multiple ER visits running blood tests, ultrasounds, x-rays, and more; he was not recovering and the doctors had no idea what was happening. We needed an MRI, but unfortunately animals are not treated like people in the medical world, so we couldn’t get him in for one until Monday on the 20th. By Saturday night he was unable to get up, or even go to the bathroom and was progressively getting worse. I drove him across state lines to bring him to a special care hospital where he was hospitalized until Tuesday. Best case scenario, we were dealing with a spinal stroke.
However, unfortunately he wasn’t blessed with the best case scenario. Doctors had found that he had a mass growing in the frontal lobe of his brain, a cancerous brain tumor.
There is no cure for this, the only option is providing him more time to live his life and give this boy the bestest last bit of time he has on this planet. We will be giving him targeted radiation therapy and steroids to prolong his time, this can potentially give him another 8 to 24+ months on this planet to be his normal goofy self. We had just lost our oldest boy, Tobue the red heeler, to a cancerous spleen tumor that bursted a month ago on March 18th. We didn’t have the opportunity to give him more time like we do for Max.
This is why I’m reaching out to everyone I can. The Radiation therapy is not cheap, and he will also need to be on steroids and his epilepsy medicine for the remainder of his life. We have already made the decision to postpone our wedding to prioritize caring for Max, but we could use the help to pay off these upcoming expenses that will give him more years on this planet.
Please, I’m begging you to please spread the word as far as you can and provide this boy any support if possible. Max always shows the world and the people in it how much he loves them, let’s show him how much we love him.

Max is taking the steroids extremely well. Tuesday he needed two slings to support his rear and front.
Today he is able to walk on his own.
Still a long journey ahead of us, and this will all be short lived without his radiation therapy. Thank you everyone who has donated, literally every dollar sent will be spent on Max for his medical bills and making the remainder of his life as amazing as possible.
Please continue to share, the post got over 500k views and we can reach even further. Even something as small as a like, comment, or repost is greatly appreciated!

Thank you, that is the without a doubt the forefront of our minds. Right now the focus is to protect his brain from seizures so he doesn’t end up in a state where we need to make that decision prior to the treatment.
We are unfortunately aware of potential outcomes in the upcoming weeks, but aren’t going to make that kind of call until it’s the best for him. Right now he has the potential for another few good happy years with his siblings and us so we want to give him that chance.
After treatment, hopefully a long time after, when the cells wake up and the tumor begins to grow again, there won’t be anymore we can do unfortunately at that point and we’d have to make the difficult call before it gets bad for him.
Max is taking the steroids extremely well. Tuesday he needed two slings to support his rear and front.

@tinysag He’s had to go under a few times for his stomach flip surgery and more recently the MRI. We’ve never heard of him having complications with it luckily.
@sammm1436 I’m very glad to hear that, I hope your boy lives a very long time and becomes an outlier for post radiation treatment. 💙
How’s he doing? How was the recovery process?
Max had seizures last night… I humbly ask if you would please share this to expand his reach so we can get him the care he needs as soon as possible 😞
