Well...this morning at Starbucks basically sums up my @WSOP & @msptpoker experience thus far. Her: Can I get a name for this order? Me: Loki. Her: With a "c" or a "k"? Me (perplexed): "k". Just can't win...yet. @ChipLDR
@kestrelpsych Our ECNL club here in MN does it. As an ex-DOC I can’t believe this isn’t part of every clubs’ standard practice. Issues are 1) the results are never shared with me, a coach, and 2) nothing ever really feels truly anonymous these days, so I’m sure punches are being pulled…
@AshmanAFP@IJaSport I don't think I see a single frame where Messi's nose is pointed straight down at the ball with his eyes locked on it. He takes peeks at it, but his head is mainly at an angle facilitating these glances while opening up his field vision. Maybe I should be teaching "angle head" :)
@BeauIgor@IJaSport Absolutely. The other commentary about the importance of scanning/peeks and pictures is on point for sure. In my experience, all this becomes easier to teach, and easier for young players to pick up, once they get comfortable with the angle eyes idea.
@PokerNews@msptpoker@potawatomi_mke Honestly, I don’t know who I feel worse for - the guy who got his aces cracked, or the guy in seat 8 who only wanted a celebratory high five and had absolutely no idea what to do when he was left hanging…
@Top100Rick 55yr old 4 hdcp - put a 7w in the bag last year and love it. Love my 4i mainly for getting out of trouble with low cut or hook stingers, and love my 3h which has a more piercing ball flight and more roll than the 7w.
So…now I just play with 15 clubs…shhhhh
@Don_K_Williams Scored the best goal of my pro career against this stud - my rookie year with the Rowdies in 1992, and the US team was in town for a friendly before the Olympics later that summer in Barcelona. Funny, I’m likely the only one in the world who remembers this goal :)
@07Laplante@MNPokerUpdates@aceragoff@msptpoker Had things set to go out Tuesday and had to change plans. Had things set to go out this morning and had to change plans. Tomorrow am still up in the air.
