What a battle against the odds for Arsenal; it must’ve taken a lot of hard work to pay off referees and @FA_PGMOL, am I right?
Here’s a list of incidents:
Matheus Cunha’s penalty not given for Manchester United despite a clear foul (Arsenal win 1-0).
Max Dowman’s dive against Leeds given as a penalty.
Gabriel not sent off for hitting Nick Woltemede in the face against Newcastle (scored a last-minute winner, as Arsenal win 2-1).
Gabriel’s handball against Newcastle not given as a penalty (scored a last-minute winner, as Arsenal win 2-1).
William Saliba’s foul on Thierno Barry not given as a penalty against Everton (Arsenal win 1-0).
Mikel Merino not sent off aganst Villa despite blatently pulling back Morgan Rogers while on a yellow card.
Leandro Trossard’s penalty on Florian Wirtz not given despite a blatent foul while already on a yellow (Arsenal draw 0-0).
Jurrien Timber not sent off against Forest for pulling back Anderson for a clear 2nd yellow (Arsenal draw 0-0).
Gabriel not sent off against Brentford for a clear 2nd yellow for fouling Dango Outtara (Arsenal draw 1-1).
Gabriel Jesus not given a red card for attacking Yerson Mosquera after the Wolves game.
Gabriel not sent off for last man foul on Kolo Muani against Spurs.
Spurs’ goal disallowed for Gabriel’s dive for Kolo Muani's goal (this would’ve been 2-2 with Arsenal down to 10 men).
Brighton’s penalty not given for Martinelli’s foul on Wiefer (Arsenal win 1-0).
Penalty for Chelsea not given despite Rice hands around Joao Pedro's neck/handball (Arsenal win 2-1).
Penalty for Chelsea not given for Raya punching Joao Pedro in the head (Arsenal draw 2-1).
Jurrien Timber’s winner against Chelsea comes from a corner that was won from a free kick that was a clear dive. (Arsenal win 2-1).
Gabriel not sent off against City for a blatent headbutt on Erling Haaland (Arsenal’s best defender would’ve been suspended for three games).
Callum Wilson’s goal disallowed for West Ham despite multiple fouls by Arsenal players and a similar goal for Arsenal given against Manchester United AND Newcastle United, earlier on in the season (Arsenal win 1-0).
Kai Havertz not sent off against Burnley despite a clear and obvious red card challenge (Arsenal win 1-0).
Aside from that, what a battle against the odds!!
VAR to the rescue for Arsenal's season:
🟥 Havertz narrowly escapes a Red Card for a shocking tackle on Burnley’s Ugochukwu.
❌ Saliba's kick on Barry went unpunished, with Everton missing out on a penalty—PGMOL later acknowledged this mistake.
🟥 Gabriel should have received a red for violent conduct after a head-to-head clash with Erling Haaland.
🟥 Once again, Gabriel should have been sent off for hitting Nick Woltemade with a fist to the face.
❌ West Ham's hopes for an equaliser dashed in the dying moments as Rice and Trossard both rugby tackled opponents.
What else did I overlook? 🤔🤔
Back to back 1-0 wins vs Relegated teams, a PGMOL disgrace and 7 open play goals out of 70
Congratulations to the worst premier league champions of all time. 👏
"Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there. Suddenly, when it happens against them, it’s clear and obvious. Give me a break."
– Joe Hart

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane on West Ham’s disallowed goal for a foul on Arsenal’s Goalkeeper David Raya
"I tell ya what, that VAR decision is a complete and utter disgrace – an absolute joke!
All season long Arsenal have been crowding the goalkeeper on set-pieces, pushing, shoving, blocking – it’s been their main tactic from day one. We saw it clear as day against us at Old Trafford when Saliba backed straight into Bayindir, stopped him from making a proper save, and they nicked a goal through Calafiori. Nothing given. Not a murmur. But now, in a massive title-deciding match against West Ham, when it doesn’t suit them... suddenly it’s a foul on Raya? Are you kidding me?
What the hell are we even watching in this league anymore? It’s shameless, it’s embarrassing. At this rate just hand the title and the trophy over to Arsenal now, because it’s glaringly obvious what they’re trying to pull. Total, utter disgrace."
Great leadership isn’t just about players.
Loved this from Brighton & Hove Albion — giving players time off while recognising the staff putting in unseen hours.
That preparation is what makes performance possible. 👏
