let us talk about how CandyLend on @NomismaNetwork actually works especially on the borrowing angle

when you borrow, you have to offer BTC as collateral and borrow USDT against it. you keep your BTC, get liquid cash, and pay interest only on what you borrowed.

The collateral ratio required is 120%, tho some defi lending platforms offer lower while there are others with higher ratios

you must keep a close eye on your collateral ratio because unlike physical assets, btc value fluctuates

example: if you offer $1200 worth of BTC as collat. and borrow $1000, your ratio = 120%. if BTC price should drop and that ratio falls too low, you either add more collateral or repay some of the loan to avoid liquidation.

I honestly think that the Wallchain select is a real win-win strategy..

Both parties receive a fair share of the transaction:

- creators get paid for the target audience they provide..

It's very simple to execute too.. cos in this model, the supplier selected by the AI already owns what the buyer needs..

Other things you need to know:

– 500,000+ Diamonds has already been distributed across the first 7 stages

one thing that changed: minting a Nomizen ID shall no longer give you $1000 testnet tokens like b4.

okay, yesterday was a lot 👀

the timelines were on fire after the roll out by the @wallchain team

I had to gather all the details before saying anything... here are the some of the highlights from yesterday in case you missed the moment:

- a brand new campaign class just dropped on the platform as you can see in the screenshot

- 3 project campaigns are live already.. each has a $10k reward budget

- every creator on the platform can apply to get hired by these projects to create contents for them and set their own fee/ 1 post or for a 4-post package

- the LLM then scans your account and suggests a price for you based on your niche audience concentration, not your follower count or engagement rate

- you can edit that suggested price before submitting

- according to Yuri @kyparus, over 12k creators have already applied, some were frustrated by their suggested rate, others accepted it, and from what I heard, over 7% actually lowered their price before submitting

- the vetting process is still ongoing and only a select few will be chosen by the projects (probably 100 or less)

so don't go having any bright ideas 😂

there's something I would like to address about @NomismaNetwork and co, if you pay attention, you will save yourself a lot of time and effort.

I feel like creators are being exploited by most of these projects, but we care less because to us, the goal is simple; get into the leaderboard and eat whatever they give you at the end of the campaign.

and to make matters worse, only a fraction of participants will benefit from the pool and the campaign is on for 90 days for a budget of just 25k.

there are currently 1,769 participants in the campaign and only 300 will be rewarded — that is 16.95% of the entire creators..

bottom line: it's been more than 30 days already, if you are not anywhere close to the top 300, just save yourself the stress and stop writing..don't be used!..focus on the testnet instead.

this is a wake-up call. creators deserve to be treated better..we are nobody's minions.

the only problem right now is that there are hungry and desperate ones amongst us who devalue themselves and drag us down with them..
