My life: Had a stressful week, so decided to treat myself to a facial this afternoon. Rushed to wrap up work so I could leave on time. Left too late and rushed to get to spa. Traffic wasn't letting up. Had to cancel because I would get there too late. Now out $50 AND no facial.

My 4yo came home from school a while back saying "hoke is green" and I didn't know what the heck language they were learning. Then we saw some Marvel stuff this weekend and he said "The Hoke!" That's when I realized hoke = Hulk.

We told A we were taking him for a surprise (ice cream) and he saw the Regal nearby and asked if we were "going to the movie peter."

Also my husband, when I take the kid to his activities and keep him out of the house for 3.5 hours so some work can get done: Organizes the spice cabinet.

To his credit, has also spent untold hours troubleshooting the burnt out light in the fridge.

B told me that Tux knocked over his Starbucks on the counter. What he neglected to tell me, because he didn't realize, is that his mocha went all over the inside of the cabinet where we keep our plates and towels. That was a fun discovery this evening.
