@SKY2DT True but just remember that civil arrest means nothing. It’s an arrest in name only. It allows DPS to bring a member to the Capitol against their will and that’s about it. The members know this, so they’re pretty much ignoring it. Elections are the true accountability element.

@raford3 I work hard at being fair to everyone. I recognize the struggles of those who are marginalized. I try to be a safe place for anyone but there are so many I meet every day who have old and racist thinking. It’s exhausting. I understand my bias and privilege. I just love people.

This means they go home and never stay in DC where they can have drinks and dinner and build relationships. That has been a huge factor in this. The other factor, the media.
