Great comment on life from my mate tonight “We’re all in the departure lounge so make sure you enjoy every minute until your flight gets called.” 👏👌👍🙏🏻
Thank you to our NHS staff for all you've given this year. If you're working over the festive period, thank you again. Hope you get time with your families soon. You are all truly amazing 👏
As a leader it is our responsibility to ensure we provide opportunities for the quiet to provide their input. How can you provide space for all to contribute in your next meeting? #meetingleadership

Another fabulous well-being event within our lunchtime @SBUHBOT 🥰 pumpkin carving competition followed by staff making their #speakuppledges#staffwellbeing 😊
Todays doodle: Being present. The bigger picture of everything going on can be overwhelming.
So start small and just focus on today. The now. The present.
Great to see this in the Irish Times today about how Occupational Therapy can help more people to stay in work or return to the workplace. The article also highlights the value of Occupational Therapists working in GP practices

Request from Twitter friends: has anyone got a competency based training package for those who undertake gold and silver on call for general operational management in acute hospitals? Thank you in anticipation…
Times are tough in #NHS but I believe there are things organisations & managers can do to help support staff in difficult times
They can’t fix everything going on, but we can look after each other- which is why I’m campaigning for basic needs at work being met @NeedsAtWork ✊
It’s not possible to jump from feeling “stressed” to “Joy in work” - which is why @NeedsAtWork are so important & the language we use with staff matters
Here’s my ladder of emotions - where are you at? #NHS
Average London rent £21,984
Average food bill £4,500
Average utility bill £1,500
Total 27,948
Average nurses pay £27,055
A nurse can’t even afford to live a decent life in the UK
I will support their strike action
RT if you will too

Very proud of my wonderful sister running a half marathon to raise money for a charity close to her heart. We know the money will go towards helping those who have suffer TBI's recover with the right support 💜 @SBUHBOT@SwanseabayNHS
🏃♀️ A keen runner inspired by her best friend’s recovery from a car accident has raised nearly £2,500 to help the rehabilitation of brain injury patients.
