The stupidest move trans activism ever made was trying to make 'trans women are women' the beginning and end of all argument. If your flagship motto is a self-evidently a lie, don't be surprised if people have questions. But this one comes a close second in idiocy. Trans people already have human rights. The problem is that they're demanding that women surrender theirs.
This is madness. The NSPCC’s job is to protect children, but this completely fails that basic test.
Lucy Powell should call for this disgraceful guidance to be withdrawn immediately. Girls must have a right to privacy and safety in their changing rooms.
Daniel Radcliffe was trying to film one of the quietest scenes in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Alan Rickman and Michael Gambon decided to have a little fun with him.
They were filming the Great Hall scene with all the students sleeping in bags on the floor. Daniel had asked director Alfonso Cuarón if he could be placed next to a girl he fancied, which made what happened next even worse for him.
A fart machine was hidden in Daniel’s sleeping bag, Michael Gambon had the control, and they waited until everyone was deep into this long, serious take before setting it off. The sound echoed through the Great Hall and the cast completely lost it.
Daniel later said he first thought one of the other kids was messing around and they were all going to get in trouble. Nope. It was Dumbledore and Snape setting him up in front of the girl he liked. 😂
Getting embarrassed in front of your crush is bad enough. Having Alan Rickman and Michael Gambon behind it is another level.💀😅
I quit the Conservative Party in 1992. You were still in primary school, Robert, learning to tie your shoelaces.
You then spent years climbing through the very party you now pretend to despise.
You were a minister. You sat around the cabinet table.
You became Immigration Minister.
You were responsible.
You, personally, imported with enthusiasm endless scumbags, rapists and freeloaders from the third world.
You even fast-tracked their asylum applications. For Afghans, Eritreans, Libyans, Syrians, Yemenis and the Sudanese. Implementing a 10-page Home Office questionnaire rather than a proper interview.
A questionnaire, Robert. Really? Are you thick or complicit?
One of those successful applicants went on to almost behead an innocent man on our streets.
Are you going to apologise for that? Do you feel any shame or responsibility?
If it were me, I wouldn't sleep at night.
So please, spare me your sanctimonious bullshit.
You already had the power you’re so desperate to seize, Robert.
And you used that power to wildly throw open our borders to the third world, demographically transforming our country in ways none of us could ever imagine possible.
That was your choice. You were the minister, you were responsible.
The British people will never forget it, and they will never forgive you.
A lot of people talk about the US President, but in the 90s, I hung out with him. I studied the real Donald Trump face to face in Montreal. The man behind the scenes. Behind closed doors.
He’s every bit the man he portrays himself to be! I sincerely saw him be kind, respectful, funny & very generous with humility. I’m not picking sides. I’m not a Democrat or a Republican. (I’m a Roman!)
But let me tell you, to this day I am touched by his generosity. These days, a-hole celebs like Kardashians are too cheap to tip their drivers…. But Donald always had an inconspicuous roll of hundreds in his pocket. I watched him discretely slip $100 bills to everyone, the driver, a doorman, even a homeless person sitting outside who did not even need to ask! He wasn’t showing it off either, these were quick and discreet handoffs. He slid a $100 to the rose vendor and then proceeded to buy a rose for every lady in our limousine.
Now, I know, there are stories of him associating with untoward people. Not downplaying those connections at all.
But, I never personally saw him be anything but a gentleman whose quips had us in stitches laughing!
A reminder: @AmnestyUK tried to intervene in our court case & lost on their warped definition of "human rights".
They then defamed us. Tread carefully @AmnestyNow, we are still reviewing evidence of harm.
All these incidents were in mixed sex facilities. There were none in single-sex.
Some organisations have threatened to increase mixed-sex facilities, this should be a wake up call!
Funny how Westminster tolerated big money in politics for decades while Labour and the Conservatives were collecting it. Now a challenger has the resources to compete and suddenly the establishment wants to change the rules. What an extraordinary coincidence.
