My manager accidentally add me to a WhatsApp group for the company's senior management, and I'm just a new employee in the procurement department.

Problem is that no one noticed I was there.

I sat in the group for a full three months, reading the messages and staying silent.

Seven managers discussing daily about contracts, suppliers, expenses, and who's to blame for project delays.

I never participated with a single word.

I kept telling myself: "This has nothing to do with me, and if they discover I'm here, they might misunderstand the situation."

Until last Monday came along.

The financial manager sent a new contract with one of the suppliers, and wrote:

"We reviewed it, and everything's in order. We'll approve it today."

The replies started pouring in:
"Excellent."
"God bless you."
"Put your trust in God."

But as I was reading the contract, I noticed something odd.

The agreed price with the supplier was 480,000 riyals, while the contract sent to management was valued at 840,000 riyals.

A difference of 360,000 riyals!

I went back to review the files I had, and discovered that the original offer was correct, but the final version of the contract had a different number.

I sat in front of the screen, perplexed.

If I spoke up, they might ask why I'm in the management group in the first place.

And if I stayed silent, they might approve a contract with a huge discrepancy, and then no one would know how that number got in there.

I typed a message:
"Sorry, there's a discrepancy in the contract value."

I deleted it.

I typed again:
"I believe the contract value needs review before approval."

I hesitated for a few moments, then hit send.

Suddenly, the messages stopped completely.

Less than a minute later, my phone rang.

It was my direct manager.

He said to me in a serious voice:
