To me, this part is about the transformative power of art to speak to grief, I cannot believe people find this cringe...
Her son has been reimagined, made heroic on a stage!
Of course she is smiling/hallucinating
i thought this was a really beautiful scene and a very heartfelt illustration of the acceptance stage of grief and letting go. it’s ok not to be so jaded and bitter all the time for twitter points, it’s ok to be moved by something “cliché”, bc it’s all part of the human experience which is inherently universal

☘️As the country prepares for the long weekend and St. Patrick's Day on Monday—when the faces of many children and families will light up with joy, celebrating the parade and Irish pride—let us not forget those who are struggling. The less fortunate. Our people.☘️
Tonight was one of the most hectic nights we have had in a very long time.
Each week we tell you about the diversity of our food run. We tell you about the numbers, we tell you about the food we provide but this week we want you to hear their voices. We want to share with you their stories, some of the questions and concerns that we hear week in and week out…
The voices of our homeless say..
Where can I get hot food ?
Can you help me get a hostel ?
I can't keep food on the table for my children.
Please help me find a sleeping bag.
Can you really help me get a tent ?
I don't have a phone, can you ring the free helpline for me ?
Can you help me with my school lunches for my children ?
My hotel accommodation doesnt give me meals, can you help me eat ?
Can I eat more meals tonight ?
Can you help me ?
Can you listen to me ?
I just want a cup of tea.
I just want someone to talk to.
I Just want someone to listen.
Why are you helping me ?
Why would you want to do this for me ?
I am who I am. I am human.
Please help us to help our people.
Please donate whatever you can to allow us to continue the work that we do and answer the questions and concerns of those struggling.
It is €3 per hot meal, you can donate by following the link : https://t.co/txexZXW91y
