๐ The comeback kings of the @EFL feature in Saturday's round.
๐ฑ They created plenty of Boxing Day drama for Jeff & @beewestwood.
๐ฐ @NorwichCityFC should keep #Super6 players on their toes this weekend.
Following this club means sharing every high and low together. Today, we lost the derby for the first time in 16 years - but brighter days will return. ๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐
Again I was contacted by Ipswich when my contract finished at Norwich, I was better than every single player in your squad at the time, I told them I'd rather retire! ๐ #Fact
๐| My Sunday Thoughts ๐ฐ
It's difficult right now. There is a transition happening at Norwich and the players will be feeling it. Not just the ones who want to go but the established guys like Hanley who probably sees the writing on the wall.
You lose your best player ๐ง๐ท, you have a player who refuses to play and another who wants to go (put still puts a shift in) ๐ฎ๐ช. Thorup is having to deal with all this while settling into a new country, new football culture and trying to establish his system in an ever changing team.
We won't be able to settle into the season until the transfer window shuts and we know what we have. Fully expect Rowe and Idah will go, personally will wish Idah the best and hope that Rowe falls flat on his face and disappears into obscurity.
Rowe thinks he's bigger than the club, just like Cantwell did. He had a great 6 months but refusing to play is the epitome of disrespect for the club who brought him through and he turned his back on his teammates, fans and manager at the first opportunity.
We need 2/3 new signings and I think we get them. But we probably won't see the best of this team until around Christmas. Just like when Farke arrived, it takes time and the first goal is making sure that we have players who want to be here and are willing to work.
So while yesterday is frustrating and the current squad is less than ideal. I have absolute faith in Knapper and Thorup to establish something here which will lead to long-term success. Just need to be patient and keep the faith.
