@Melo_Mania1 @Michael61869359@essendonfc Well it wasn’t 2 years ago, it was last year and we started 6-4. Draper was the only one from that list actually playing in our best 22 when the injuries hit. Stringer and Heppell weren’t even on the list, maybe check who was actually playing before pretending you’ve made a point
@Melo_Mania1 @Michael61869359@essendonfc laugh all you want, I’m not saying the list is good, but you still haven’t explained how the “worst list in the league” was 6-4 before injuries hit. Now there’s no structure, players look confused and confidence is shot. That’s coaching too.
@Melo_Mania1 @Michael61869359@essendonfc Same list was 6-4 before the injuries hit last year, so you can’t just blame the cattle. If the players were capable of being competitive then and look this bad now, that says plenty about the coaching.
@SilentGhost263 Yes the pressure, contest and ball movement was a lot better. But its still the same issue, the inability to defend in transition and from kickouts is beyond a joke, you can't win games or be a good team defending like that. We gave up 62 points in 40 mins of footy.
@sammyboy1010384@ChasCogan74605@Adsbrads8485@AFL@JoshGabelich He had 60% game time round 1 because he was sick. Do I think he will be an absolute superstar A grader, no he’s not good enough by foot. But even if he had 20 possies on the weekend it still would’ve been a very good game. He did a lot more then get cheapies.
Thoughts with all those closest to our 3yo colt Arcora who was humanely euthanised after sustaining a completely unforeseen injury at Rosehill this afternoon.
A gentle giant who made a big impact on his ownership group and the team at home that cared for him each day. Rest easy.
