Watching these moves, I think that we could take a lot in a hypothetical Dort trade, but if Sam hasn't take a chance by now, he won't do it. Hope that Dort being in the team don't change Cason thoughts for the future
Just in: Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a two-year, $31 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, sources tell ESPN. Harris exits the Pistons after helping lead a franchise turnaround and now joins a young contending team in the Western Conference.
"I'm told this is a happiness-led decision for LeBron James. ... Wherever he lands in free agency, it will not be driven by money."
@ShamsCharania joins @malika_andrews with more details about LeBron James' decision to not play with the Lakers next season.
I'm really high on Mara, he is, at worst, a top 5 zone defender, he can change shots and be a 2 BPG player consistently. The ceiling? Something close to Marc Gasol/Jokic
Just in: Oklahoma City's Isaiah Hartenstein intends to sign a new three-year contract to return to the Thunder through 2028-29 that brings his total earnings with the franchise at five years and $134 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN. A key signing in 2024 leading to the 2025 championship, Thunder lock in the defensive anchor.
For me, Dort's issue is bigger than his contract, if you are giving him one more year with the same rol and he underperforms, Cason Wallace is gone, but if he plays the best basketball of his life, we can walk out with neither of Dort nor Caso
There is a world where OKC can opt out of Isaiah Hartenstein's deal and have him sign a long-term deal with a small pay cut, dump Kenrich Williams' $7.1M team option, and still keep everyone, including Lu Dort, while being under the second apron.
@BrettSiegelNBA Caso is looking for a larger rol, if OKC can't give him that (while he keeps being way better than Dort), he will find it anywhere. Imo, he will get the bag everywhere he wants to go
