Catching up on Top Chef. OMG seeing my fave Filipino dishes I ate growing up featured on the finale of #TopChef is unreal. Growing up I NEVER thought Filipino food was meant most palettes or that it would be considered main stream. Torta talong is so simple, I hope she nailed it!

@TheKempire I agree. She was homeless. They didn’t have a space that belonged to them. She didn’t have her own bed, space to sleep, closet or bedroom to get dressed. She had no privacy. Her living situation was temporary and unstable.

The girls are around 16-18; most just don’t get their period. Daisy mentioned she only knew one girl that had her period when she was in Toronto.
