@spiral99999@EpikEpikson One doesn’t have to be from the same universe to be a GoD. The manga even tells Vegeta that with his current power (F Trunks arc) he could be a candidate for GoD in another universe.
@GrongoA@AeonPeneko This seems to be an issue with those that currently work on DB. Even the Moro Arc is credited as a Toriyama on work with no mention of Toyotaro.
@AllenTheSauceG1@Icantbeliev23@PhyGTGoku He wouldn’t, because these situations are completely different. You’re treating Kid Buu like every other villain that came before him, when the story makes it very clear he’s different.
@AllenTheSauceG1@Icantbeliev23@PhyGTGoku A lot of choices Goku has made in DB are what some would consider stupid, but there is always a pure nature behind those choices. That’s what makes Goku so different.
No one said it isn’t stupid, but it clearly to shows Goku’s pure nature being front and foremost against KB.
@Icantbeliev23@PhyGTGoku This entire conversation is in reference to Goku and Kid Buu’s initial fight and what happened right before. In those moments it is clear depicted that Goku was clearly only acting on his nature as a saiyan. Vegeta’s speech adds to this narrative.
@Icantbeliev23@PhyGTGoku It’s still doesn’t change what I said and how Goku acts. This is specifically how Goku is written in this very arc. Heck right after everyone dies Goku and Vegeta play rock paper scissors lol.
@Icantbeliev23@PhyGTGoku Like I said, it’s like getting mad a wild animal. The way Goku acts towards Kid Buu is specifically different when compared to all other villians. Not all situations are the same.
@bossnoss101@PhyGTGoku The same sense of anger can’t really be directed towards Kid Buu. It’s like getting angry at an animal.
At this point, Goku just like Kid Buu, is just acting only by instincts/nature. Their battle is directly treated as a battle absolved of any real meaning besides enjoyment.
@bossnoss101@PhyGTGoku Kid Buu isn’t like the rest of those opponents. It is explicitly made clear what type of being he is.
Kid Buu basically becomes a force of destruction with no real rhyme or reason to the damage he causes. Acting on purely on his instincts.
@bossnoss101@PhyGTGoku Wouldn’t this be more of a moment where Goku’s “poison” seeps to the surface, where his pure intentions/nature begin to show?
Narratively, this aligns better with how Vegeta describes Goku during his fight against Kid Buu.
