Boy, as if you venting to Miyu would ever be a problem to her lol?? I definitely understand not wanting to stress out Miyu when she’s finishing up the school year too, but at the end of the day, your partner is someone who should be there to lend an ear to you when you’re struggling and if that’s too much, you deserve better.

I was a little disappointed Tani didn’t trust Miyu enough to let her carry some of the burden he was dealing with about university admissions.. BUT all’s well that ends well. They’re young kids and Miyu was direct with her feelings. Communication is key in any successful relationship, so I’m proud of them working through it. I also thought it showed a lot of maturity when Miyu admitted she knew they wouldn’t be able to work through all his problems together, but she still wants him to be comfortable enough to approach her! They’re both so 🥰

And it’s finally graduation time, where have the last 12 weeks gone?? This season has blown by. I feel like a proud older sibling watching my babies graduate and making the most of their last day together. I definitely know the feeling of looking at some people you spent so much time with in school and realizing you might never see them again in life. It’s a bittersweet moment for sure, but there’s even beauty in that because it’s the start of a new journey in life.

A broadcast on August 31 marked the first live report from the Gyirong land port since disaster struck the China-Nepal border on August 26.

It showed a few key details about ongoing rescue operations in the worst-hit area on the Chinese side:

1. Communications have been restored after an emergency base station was installed about 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) from the port the previous day.

2. The ground at Gyirong port is waist-deep mud, on top of layers of sand and rock, making every step difficult.

3. Radar life detectors and search dogs are being used to search for signs of life beneath the debris.

4. A water tower on a hillside is reportedly the only structure still visible, while only the foundation remains of the port’s main building.

5. Helicopters are transporting rescuers and supplies to the port, while crews work to restore the final kilometer of road corridor.

Tuesday marks the seventh day since the disaster struck. Amid difficult conditions and diminishing hopes of finding survivors, search and rescue operations continue.
