Tragedy in Mexico: 15-year-old student kills two teachers in school shooting

A 15-year-old student opened fire inside the Antón Makárenko High School in Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, killing two female teachers on Tuesday morning. The victims were identified as María del Rosario, 36, and Tatiana, 37. Both died at the scene after the teenager entered the school during class hours armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle (5.56 mm caliber) and shot them. Hours before the attack, the minor reportedly posted a video on social media posing with the rifle, raising questions about whether the shooting was premeditated. Authorities from Michoacán arrived quickly, arrested the student at the scene, and seized the weapon along with ammunition. The Prosecutor's Office is investigating how the 15-year-old obtained the rifle and what motivated the double homicide.
