Hand on heart, I dont feel sad at all. Im so fucking proud of this group. Won us a PL after 22 years and took us to a UCL final. Kings who will be remembered forever. 99% of Europe would want our season.
Thank you Mikel and Thank you Arsenal.
I recognise my football club again.
For everyone who suffered through 8-2.
For everyone who half 6 at Stamford Bridge in Wenger’s 1,000th game.
For everyone who suffered through Baku.
For everyone who had to go to school after conceding 10 to Bayern.
Today is for you. Drink it all in. We deserve this.
Just watched the Mic’d Up of the VAR from the West Ham Arsenal game.
Addressed Trossard on Pablo is a moot point, confirmed Rice on Mavropanos is likely a foul but the Raya foul happens first.
What concerns me is they’ve not even looked at the shirt pull, so if they’d have given the goal then a clear factor wouldn’t have been touched on. That’s actually the scary part.
They got the right decision but missed key evidence 😅
Morning.
Everyone still embarrassing themselves and losing their heads over a correct decision which for once actually shows that VAR works?
Yep, thought so.
It’s so funny, timeline flooded with examples that aren’t remotely similar to the Raya one, saying these fouls never get given against Arsenal
The only one that is remotely similar, Ben White actually grabbing the GK’s arm, was given as a foul, against Arsenal
Mikel Arteta made some of the biggest calls he’s ever made today and he’s doing stuff I’d never expect.
That decision to play Rice at right-back was wrong and he realised his mistake and switched it shortly after by bringing in Mosquera.
He then substituted the substitute in Zubimendi because he was nowhere near the required level.
Bringing in Odegaard who changed the match.
Even Madueke for Saka was positive.
Unbelievable management.
🚨🗣️ | Thierry Henry on Manchester City vs Brentford: 💣
“You see, I look at the screen, I see those two penalty incidents... I see the challenge from Bernardo Silva where he stays on the pitch with only a yellow... and I have to tell you, if I speak, I am in big, big trouble. I’m serious. Because if I explain to you what my eyes are seeing and how this game ended for Brentford, I won’t be sitting in this chair tomorrow. People talk about the 'big teams' and the 'small teams,' but the game has to be the game. I’m not going to say it. I’m not going to use the word. But we all saw it. You saw it, I saw it, the fans saw it. So I stay quiet, because if I open my mouth... yeah, I am in big trouble”
Havertz has been injured four times, Saka has been out for a total of four months, Timber is currently sidelined for two months, Merino has been out for over four months, Eze missed two months, White was injured at the start of the season, Madueke was out for two months, and our skipper hasn’t been fully fit for most of the season I don’t even want to talk about Calafiori being made of glass and we didn’t make any signings in January, yet we made it to the UCL final unbeaten and are still top of the Premier League.
@jara_linhart@DavidKveton@RN_Hockey Přešel. Absolutně. Takhle nevypadá člověk, co by přál oběma týmům prohru. Davča normálně přeje Pardubicím a mně je z toho dost mdlo 😅
Arsenal have one striker in Havertz who does so much in build-up, holds onto the ball and creates chances for others - but lacks a ruthless edge. And then they have another in Gyokeres who is a ruthless finisher but can't do any of the hold-up work that Havertz does.
