Today, our Humboldt Broncos team made an important stop at the 2017β2018 Humboldt Broncos Memorial site. Together, we stood in reflection, paying our respects to the team whose legacy will always be a part of who we are. ππ
This meaningful trip was made possible through the support of the @BroncosMemGolf , a powerful reminder of how our community continues to come together to honour and remember.
Forever in our hearts. #weplayforthem

ποΈ April 6, 2025 β Honouring the Humboldt Broncos, 7 Years Later ππ
Today, we pause to remember the 16 lives lost and the 13 lives forever changed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash on April 6, 2018.
Seven years later, the pain of that day is still felt deeply across Canada and beyond. But so too is the powerful legacy of Logan Boulet and the incredible ripple effect of his decision to register as an organ donor. His selfless act inspired over 150,000 Canadians to follow his lead β a movement now known as the Logan Boulet Effect.
π On this solemn anniversary, Green Shirt Day stands with the families, teammates, first responders, and all who continue to carry this loss in their hearts.
π We honour the memory of the Broncos by continuing to share their story and encourage organ donor registration across the country.
π Let us continue to turn tragedy into hope β one green shirt, one conversation, one donor registration at a time.
π Green Shirt Day is tomorrow β April 7. Wear green to honour Logan, the Broncos, and to inspire organ donor awareness and registration. Together, we can make a difference.

Logan Boulet's family is kicking off the national Green Shirt Day campaign, and for the first time it will launch here in Edmonton. The campaign is inspired by the legacy of their son, Humbolt Broncos defencemen Logan Boulet. He was one of 16 people killed six years ago in the Humbolt Broncos bus crash. What came from the immense tragedy was a conversation about saving lives through organ donation. Loganβs parents, Bernadine and Toby, joined us on Global News Morning Edmonton to talk about the campaign. #LoganBouletEffect #HumboldtStrong #GreenShirtDay https://t.co/TG5HhhuliP
This is a beautiful tradition borne out of tragedy. The Boulet Family continually thank the @HumboldtBroncos@BroncosMemGolf and the @CityofHumboldt_ for everything they do to remember the 29 on the Bus. πππβ€οΈ
