A few people have asked me, so here goes:

Keys and Gray Unleashed is going to fail for two reasons that link together.

1. There's a big difference between hosting live match coverage (for which 100% of the audience is there to watch the game itself- the hosting team are just window dressing), and making a show based on your ideas, chemistry and ability to regularly carry 40 minutes of entertainment on your own wits.

2. There's a need to prove to brands/platforms that they can make this transition and that there's an audience for what they're bringing in an already crowded marketplace, otherwise they're not going to be paid. They don't seem like individuals that like working for no pay and my general rule of thumb is that even a successful show starting from scratch will take 9-12 months to see any decent revenue. Can they stick at it for that long, even if they can muster up the ideas/interest (something that, based on their first episode, I seriously doubt)? Unlikely.

Enjoy the Brentisms while you still can.
