I carried out a procedure on a patient who was referred to me with an infection following a sinus lift bone graft and implants. I removed the infected tissue and the distal of the implant, creating a large communication into the antrum.
This young lady is in her 30's and had a right TMJ replacement with a custom made alloplast 3 months prior to this photograph. A preauricular incision and a retromandibular incision were made and their appearance is good. She now has 45mm of opening and no complications 🙌
Anterior bite due to advance degeneration in condylar bone. Patient will be treated with OrthoTiN implants to correct the loss of height resulting in fixing of her anterior bite.
Stephanie is now 4 weeks post-surgery, and has gone from few millimeters of mouth opening to 35 millimeters, is totally pain free and able to eat regular food.

MRI scan confirmed internal derangement without reduction.
Mr Cascarini performed level II arthroscopy in which he used the second port for instrumenting to pull the disc, coblation to tighten the fibers behind the disc to keep it in place and BMAC (bone marrow aspirate concentrate) to help the joint heal faster.

1. A Temporomandibular Joint Arthroscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure.
