Literally my mum's dog has just arrived at a no-kill rehab rescue after she suddenly passed away before her time. I think if we had to deal with ppl questioning him being abandoned I'd crash out.

people get evicted, deported (as we’ve seen in the US), or even unexpectedly pass away
I can’t imagine the heartache of having to unwillingly rehome my pets

@Altermerea I wasn't married but came out to my then boyfriend of about 6 years. He was bi so I naively assumed it'd be fine however I still got comments like "I've lost a hot gf" before I eventually ended things to put us out of our misery.
